OUTING TO DOVER CASTLE, KENT - £26 per person

On Tuesday June 17 we have planned a trip to visit Dover Castle and the secret Wartime Tunnels. Situated on the famous white cliffs, no fortress in Europe boasts a longer history than Dover Castle. There is even a Roman lighthouse! We will have an inclusive guided tour of the Wartime Tunnels lasting some 50 minutes. There is much to see and it is recommended that we allow 4 hours. There is also a café. You can bring your own food or eat there - the only planned event is the tour which will be shortly after we arrive. The coach will leave Shere Village Hall at 9am and will return there at approximately 6pm. If you are a member of English Heritage, then the inclusive cost of the day drops to £19 per head. Please complete the form accordingly and remember to bring your EH card with you to show on arrival. Book at the AGM or call Alex Dodd on 01483 202155. (Meals not included in the cost)
